Original drawing by Swiss artist Rodolphe-Théophile Bosshard (1889–1960), made during his travels in Greece. The study depicts the ancient ruins at Nemea / Corinth and bears the artist’s R.Th.B. monogram.
The drawing retains its original perforated edge from the artist’s sketchbook and is accompanied by the original Dessin Original presentation sleeve, associated with the exceptionally small deluxe issue of Sanctuaires de la Grèce antique et byzantine (1943)
